Galia Kut

Veteran Investor & Mentor

Galia Kut is a Jerusalem-based veteran investor in early stage companies.  She comes from a strong technical background including a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from USC, a graduate degree from Stanford with a specialty in computational linguistics and AI and 30+ years experience.  At a variety of companies Galia has held both technical and senior management roles.  She currently invests in and advises early stage companies.  She also sits on a number of boards of directors.

Galia’s particular strengths include out-of-the-box thinking and brainstorming and making connections.  She is able to grasp both technical and financial details and assist in company growth and business development.

Special interests include deeptech, artificial intelligence and big data analysis.  Galia’s portfolio also includes a large number of woman-led startups.

Alan Garfunkel

Attorney & Angel Investor

Alan J. Garfunkel is an attorney practicing in New York, specializing in tax, mergers and acquisitions and corporate transactions.  He is a Columbia Law School graduate and holds a masters in taxation from NYU School of Law.  Mr. Garfunkel also manages an investment portfolio that invests in public companies and early stage startups in the United States and Israel.  Mr. Garfunkel served in the United States army reserves from 1969 to 1974.  He participated in the 1993 and 1997 Maccabiah in Israel as a masters swimmer, and is a former president of the Young Israel of Scarsdale.

Yarden Shechter

Yarden Shechter is program manager at 365x, a scale-up program for mature Israel-related startups that is powered by Sarona Ventures, Microsoft and Salesforce among others. Throughout the last few years, Yarden has worked with over 60 startups, helping them scale their businesses, penetrate global markets, establish partnerships with international corporates and achieve required milestones to reach venture capital investments.   

Eliora Moche

Eleora Moche began her career as a debt capital markets analyst on the HSBC investment banking team.  She then moved to the buyside as a retail and consumer analyst, taking over the $25MM portfolio a year later. She spent the five years preceding her aliyah as a relationship manager at Bloomberg LP working with Ct. hedge funds such as SAC Capital and Tudor Investments. After moving to Israel to “live the dream,” Eleora engaged the world of VC as an investor relations manager at OurCrowd, then went on to run investor relations at a Jerusalem investment firm.  She is now found at home running operations and IR at fresh.fund.

Yehuda Kronengold

Yehuda received his legal education from Bar-Ilan University and has been a member of the Israeli Bar since 2005.

Yehuda began his career in the Military Advocate General’s (MAG) Program as a military prosecutor and lecturer in the Military Law School.

After completing military service, Yehuda spent a number of years studying Biblical and Talmudic law, as well as guiding year-long study groups on Biblical ethics, at the Hesder Yeshiva in Yeroham, located in the heart of Israel’s Negev desert region.

Yehuda previously worked as an associate in the international corporate department of one of Israel’s leading law firms, as well as spending time in an in-house role in a large Israeli company.

Yehuda represents companies in all aspects of their development: incorporation, corporate governance, public and private financing and commercial contracts, with particular emphasis on corporate strategic transactions, technology-related agreements and angel and venture capital related financing.

Yehuda’s rich and varied background ranging from commercial law, military law, legal education and trial law, couples with his wide-ranging legal education to allow for an insightful and proficient approach to our clients unique business needs.
